The Rev. Yvonne C. Brunson, the long-time secretary and associate of former pastor, Dr. J. H. Williams (1935-1989), agreed to become the interim-pastor at the request of the congregation of Union in November 1989 while the church assigned a committee to search for a permanent pastor. She served in this capacity until January 1991. She remained an associate minister here until she accepted the call to the pastorate of the John Wesley United Church in Fredericka, DE |
